Back to School...Until Baby Arrives

It is August...that means it is back to school time for Mommy and Miles! We are both starting on new quests this year. I am teaching 11th and 12th grade English at Chester County High School and Miles is a junior cub at University School of Jackson (USJ).

He has to wear a uniform every day. It is the cutest thing!!

I love my new job. The students, atmosphere, administration, fellow teachers, and staff are simply amazing. It is so wonderful to work at a place where you feel loved and supported at all times. I am truly blessed with this opportunity of a lifetime and I hope to make a lasting impression on all the students I come in contact with every day.

A group of teachers gave me fresh flowers on the first day of school!! Who wouldn't love working at CCHS?

Miles seems to love his school, too. I ask him about his day and he says, "It was good." That's always his response. I hope he continues this upbeat attitude about school in the future!

This was Miles on his first full day of school. I am kind of glad that I didn't take him. I might have cried. A BIG thank you to Daddy for taking these pictures!

He is in a 2 year old program at USJ with 8 other boys and girls. He gets to learn Spanish, sing music, paint pictures, and even play cars!

We are hoping he keeps exploring and expanding his little mind with the help of his teachers, Ms. Linda and Ms. Zina.

Here are his latest MILEStones...he can spell his name....

...and sing the Itsy Bitsy Spider (even though it is a little fast)

...and he has started pretending.

Our little guy is growing up too fast. As for our other little guy, he still has yet to make his grand entrance into this world. We will be 39 weeks tomorrow!! As of this past Monday, we are dilated 1 cm and 75% effaced. Our midwife, Holly, thinks that Miller is already 8 pounds! Another big boy!! I am still working and trying to stay busy to pass the time until we get to meet Miller. We are excited about our newest addition, but with that excitement comes a little apprehension. We pray that God will lead the way for us on this new journey to a family of 4. Stay tuned....we have 1 week until D-Day!!
